Instructional Systems is responsible for centrally-supported applications used in class instruction. These applications include ANGEL, LON-CAPA, and Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro (formerly Breeze).
With ANGEL, faculty and staff members can manage course content, post materials, engage students and group members, administer quizzes and gauge student progress. Many staff members also use ANGEL for administrative tasks.
LON-CAPA also provides a suite of course management tools. Faculty can access the shared content repository created by members of the LON-CAPA network. LON-CAPA excels at delivering randomized online homework and bubble sheet assessments, especially for courses that include a strong numerical component.
